There is a change in the schedule for the Warbird Volleyball Match vs. DeSmet on Tuesday.
The schedule is as follows:
7th @ 4:00, 8th @ 5:00, JV @6:00, Varsity @ 7:00.
There will be no C game.

Thursday - Dynamic Duo / Costume Day Game Day in High School 5th Hour Competitive Cheer @ Mitchell Cross Country @ Redfield
Friday - WW Spirit Day Lineup up parade - 12:30 Parade - 1:00 Pick up - Following Parade All students K-8 are required to return to the school after the parade. Parents will pick up their children in the commons. We assign areas for each grade. Students will be dropped off on the east side and enter the commons doors to meet parents. Football vs. Castlewood 7:00
Saturday - Competitive Cheer @ Pierre
If any parents or guardians are interested in signing their student(s) up for theHeartland Region Backpack Program, please fill out the enrollment form and return the front office as soon as possible.
K-8 students will be sent home with forms this week, otherwise, forms can be found on the school website or by this link:

At the end of each week, your child will be discreetly given supplemental food items for the weekend beginning in September and continuing to the end of the school year.

Welcome back!! This is Mr. Donovan the new Superintendent. I want to thank everyone for being so welcoming to my family. We are excited to join the Wolsey-Wessington community. Our school district will focus on family engagement this year, and we are excited to bring in Black Hills Special Services Cooperative to help with this. There are a few reminders before school starts. Open house is tonight from 4-6pm. This is a great time to meet the staff and be ready to go for Wednesday when school starts. The After School Program will start on August 26th. We will be running the program until 5:30. The after school pick up line will change a little bit this year. First car in line parks at the top of the hill along sidewalk and follow in line down the hill. Please remain in vehicle and your child will be brought out to you. If you need to enter the school please park in the parking lot. Once your child is in the vehicle please utilize your blinker and safely merge out of the pickup line. This should make it so we don't get so backed up. Students are only able to be dropped off at 7:45 as well. Hope everyone has a wonderful school year and we are excited to get students back in the building!

Reminder that the fall sports meeting is tonight at 7pm.
3-4 year old pre-school has a couple changes happening for this year. They will now start at 8:10 and be done at 10:10. In the past it has been only Tuesday and Thursday. We are now giving the parents the option of either doing Monday / Wednesday or Tuesday / Thursday. We will stick with two days a week still, just giving parents the ability to choose what days work best for their schedule. Please contact the office or Ms. Dragt if you have any questions.
Reminder of upcoming important dates!
The Fall Sports Meeting will be held next Wednesday, August 7th, at 7pm. There will be a short meeting to begin and then each fall sport will be split up with coaches to talk about expectations for the upcoming season.
